Sylvania Speech, LLC is a boutique-style pediatric speech therapy private practice offering individualized services. Sylvania Speech specializes in the assessment and treatment of pediatric speech sound disorders serving Sylvania, OH and surrounding communities in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

Evaluations/Assessments
An assessment will be completed in a session for a differential diagnosis of the possibility of a speech sound disorder. A current IEP with current assessment information may also be referred to, if applicable.

Therapy Services
Based on the assessment results, a customized therapy program will be created with input from the parent/caregivers to address the concerns and needs of the child. Therapy services are provided by an experienced Speech Language Pathologist in a one-on-one setting working on identified target areas of articulation (difficulty producing one or more speech sounds), phonology (consistent error patterns/processes of sound substitutions or omissions) and/or Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) (difficulty with planning/coordinating motor movements of the tongue, lips, and jaw to produce clear speech). The therapist may support current IEP objectives as well, if applicable. Parent/caregiver education is provided for carryover at home.


Payment
Sylvania Speech is private (self) pay only and accepts cash, check, or credit card. Sylvania Speech does not participate or contract with any health insurance companies. Documentation can be provided, upon request, for the parent/caregiver to send to their insurance company for possible reimbursement (as Out-of-Network).
